Device Fingerprint Verification

Assigns a unique identifier per device, allowing to block machines by using a complex trigger system to score your visitors and detect all kinds of fraudsters capable of disrupting your business. Whether you face fake account creation, account takeovers or chargebacks, Device Fingerprint is the go to feature for you.

Why is fingerprint useful?

Account Fraud Fingerprinting will stop fraudsters from creating new accounts and combination of our device fingerprint and antifraud systems will safe guard your quality users from takeovers.

How it works?

It is relatively easy to use fake email addresses, cookies or user agents to commit a wide variety of fraudulent actions. The question is whether fraudsters change their equipment. Although the answer may be “yes”, changing equipment is quite troublesome and costly, so scammers resort to it in extremely rare cases.

Fingerprinting scans every device and grabs an enormous number of parameters, including an operating system, browser and its version, installed plug-ins, screen resolution, platform, IP address, and many others.

Using the combination of these parameters, our system generates a permanent user ID. This ID can then be used to detect same machines even, if they try to hide their identity.

1 - Think twice and remain critical when opening attachments in e-mails or files downloaded from the Internet. Ask yourself if you trust the source and why you’d want to open it in the first place.

2 - Update your programs and applications. Patch your software whenever new security patches are released.

3 - Install an antivirus solution. Make sure you download antivirus software from vendors that you trust and never run more than one AV tool on your PC at the same time. If you can’t afford to buy a license there are plenty of free options for home users such as AVIRA, AVG, AVAST and Microsoft
