A message to our Live Like Geno community:
We miss you! We are reaching out to you today to reassure you that our commitment to you and your family will never change. We are working hard and preparing to continue our basketball camps, Chip Like Geno golf tournament, and Play Like Geno 3 v 3 tourneys as it becomes safe to do so. We are a family run organization who believes in and lives by our mission and the services we offer. Since 2017 we have been committed to operating with fairness, consistency, and transparency. We have worked hard to become a foundation Geno would be proud of. Even during these unprecedented times, we continue to prioritize the safety of our players, coaches, and supporters. As you may already know, we have had to cancel nearly all of our fundraising events and our AAU season. Times are tough, but the Live Like Geno Foundation will continue to put in work! We’ve had to pivot and come up with some very creative ways to stay connected and create revenue that will carry us through to next year. We realize many families are living under strained and uncertain conditions. In response, we returned just under $60,000 in AAU registration fees to AAU families. As an organization, we will continue to fundraise and provide opportunities for the community to experience Living Like Geno. Please check our newsletter often to see what we are currently up to. We kindly ask that you help out in any way you can. From donations to sharing our messages on social media, anything you can do is valuable to us and we are grateful! Thank you for your partnership, support, and patience during these difficult times. We look forward to continuing our Mission together.

Scholarships
Thank you to all of our high school senior scholarship applicants from Christopher High School, South Fork High School and San Benito High School! We applaud your effort in applying for scholarships, even through the heartbreak and disappointment of your senior year ending too soon. We stand with all high school seniors and look forward to awarding $6,000 in scholarships this year! Each high school will have a unique plan for senior awards. Check your school’s plan for more information. Good luck!

We participated in #GivingTuesdayNow
#GivingTuesdayNow, a new global day of giving and unity, took place this past Tuesday May 5, 2020 – in addition to the regularly scheduled Dec 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. This year was our first time participating, and the Live Like Geno community made it a great success!
