We are excited to announce the premiere issue of ApaNa Magazine, a specialized publication for Sustainability and Social Engagement in the Caribbean.

ApaNa is not just a magazine but rather an inextricable combination of a publication and a philosophy. We believe that the way for business and social communities to achieve sustainable development goals and contribute to human development is to take a more strategic and integrated approach that allows them to also meet their own business and social objectives.

ApaNa creates a specialized media platform that drives social impact and partnerships and addresses sustainability, corporate and individual citizenship and good works in the region from a business and social standpoint.

The first issue of ApaNa covers various themes to familiarise the reader with key concepts that will be useful for future readings. We included interviews and stories from people and organisations to provide an overview of what is happening in protecting our environment, sustainable business, corporate philanthropy and good works in the Caribbean. The following issues will provide more in-depth reviews, expert insights, research and case studies pertaining to development at the local, regional and international levels.

“ApaNa provides an independent platform for communication and collaboration on sustainability and social responsibility challenges, developments and strategies for the Caribbean.  We leverage storytelling with articles on sustainability, business and marketing trends, social causes and community investment.  ApaNa shares the work that companies and partners are doing together.  We also offer executive perspectives to motivate and inspire organisations, people and communities in the region to take action,” Deborah Hackshaw, the magazine’s founder said.
