2019 Brentwood Business Showcase Round Up

   
   

The Brentwood Business Showcase took place on Thursday 31 October at Brentwood School. The annual networking event, sponsored by Tees incorporating Wortley Byers Law as the main Gold Sponsor and Crest Nicholson as Silver Sponsor, attracted almost 400 delegates who visited with over 55 exhibitors.

Volunteer for Lighting Up Brentwood &
Shenfield Christmas Fayre

   

We are looking for volunteer stewards to help out at our two Christmas community events: Lighting Up Brentwood on Saturday 30 November 2019 and Shenfield Christmas Fayre on Sunday 8 December 2019.


Duties include:

*Directing the public
*Helping with set up and set down
*Escorting street performers

*Helping with the stages


Various shifts available between 8am and 8pm. Any shift over 4 hours earns you a free lunch.

EAFRD Growth Programme National Reserve Fund 

   

The Rural Payments Agency and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) have launched the new EAFRD Growth Programme National Reserve Fund to run a new round of National Calls for Expressions of Interest. 


The new calls will be in the three themes of Business Development, Food Processing and Rural Tourism Infrastructure. For this funding round of the Growth Programme, the threshold for minimum grants has come down from £35,000 to £20,000, meaning that more small or micro-businesses can be eligible for a grant for their projects.
