TALE Action Events

TALE (Transport and Logistical Efficiencies) is open to SMEs with a logistics function including freight transport, manufacturing and distribution. TALE is hosting 11 free training sessions in spring 2020 for logistics companies based in Essex.

EAFRD Growth Programme National Reserve Fund 

   
   

The Rural Payments Agency and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) have launched the new EAFRD Growth Programme National Reserve Fund to run a new round of National Calls for Expressions of Interest. 


The new calls will be in the three themes of Business Development, Food Processing and Rural Tourism Infrastructure. For this funding round of the Growth Programme, the threshold for minimum grants has come down from £35,000 to £20,000, meaning that more small or micro-businesses can be eligible for a grant for their projects.

BEST Growth Hub will be hosting free business workshops and events taking place across Essex in December and into 2020. Upcoming topics range from starting employment law, export procedures & documentation and video skills for social media. 

BEST Growth Hub also provides free one-to-one business advice to support you in reviewing your business and suggesting ideas for increasing productivity.
