Volunteer Today!

WHAM on Wheels has a new trailer that we just had completed and outfitted with lighting using a solar panel to charge the RV battery to power them! We take folding tables and all the art supplies that we need and set up to teach the public how to do a make and take art project. We can seat about 20-25 people at a time and usually serve 200-400 people during an event!

List of events located in the chart at the end of this newsletter. Contact Heather Young to volunteer.

textiles, how to define them, identify their origins, how they benefit the home and fashion, certifications, non-toxic inks, digital direct to fabric printing, and compare swatch samples. He will also speak about future possibilities, greenwashing, and the history of textiles in Arizona.

We are starting our new season of having an Open Free Studio  (newly named "Whameo") in the large classroom. It will run every 1st Thursday for the months of Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, and May from 9-12 AM. Everyone brings what

they want to work on and a bag lunch to continue the camaraderie at 12 in the dining room. Last season was fun and fulfilling as we shared ideas and sometimes a demonstration.

I am hoping for a great turnout this season so studio and non-studio artists become better acquainted as we converse, work, and laugh together!! Join us by going to the website and registering where the drop-down menu says, classes. If you forget, come anyway. We just want to have an idea about tables. See you on Nov. 7th around 9 AM.

Looking for an (Open Studio Facilitator)

We now offer a service where you can advertise your work, studio or promote being in a show on our TV at the docent desk that will be running every day the gallery is open. A minimal fee will be charged. See Connie Whitlock or ME Odom for details. ME Odom is also offering a service of creating a 30 or 60 sec. video if you want more than just photos running.

Stop in and see Marty Wolfe for more information or click the link below to send her an email.
