Partners in the MATCH-SPORT project for the prevention of discrimination in amateur sport took part in the kick-off meeting. The objectives of the project are to analyse the phenomenon of discriminatory violence in amateur sport, to ensure that everyone can access sport, and to promote local partnerships and the exchange of experiences.  (...)


The partners in the European, Efus-led LOUD project met for the kick-off. Through LOUD, young people and local authorities work together to produce alternative narratives to extremism and intolerance to be disseminated locally with the aim of strengthening social inclusion.  (...)

The partners in the PROTECT project for the protection of urban public spaces against terrorist threats met in Paris. On this occasion, they were presented with the manual produced by the Dutch applied science organisation TNO and Efus to help local authorities and their partners use the tool created by the EU to evaluate the vulnerability of urban public spaces. (...)




Willy Demeyer, Mayor of Liege (BE) and President of Efus, is interviewed in the international magazine ‘Addiction(s) : recherches et pratiques’ (addictions: research and practices). Malmö's (SE) integrated programme against domestic violence is based on the practical needs of women who are victim of violence. The scheme thus provides medical assistance in case of physical injury, help to file a complaint, and support for women until they get out of an abusive relationship. (...)
