Dear

As 2019 draws to a close we at ENC are reflecting on all the achievement this year including many new businesses opening and some significant new projects announced for the future.

The ENC Business Centre celebrated its fourth anniversary this month thanks to the ongoing generosity of our sponsors who make it the successful local asset that it has become. We are truly grateful for their support that enables us to share this resource with our local business community.

We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the innumerable local businesses that we have assisted at different stages of their journey.

Finally I want to thank my team. They have worked hard and with integrity. They are looking forward to their well deserved break over Christmas and New Year’s. However, the Kaiapoi i-SITE is only closed Christmas Day and Sundays.

From all of us here at ENC, have a very merry Christmas and a relaxing holiday season.

Kind regards,

Heather Warwick, CEO

For some it's the location, for others, the ease of doing business, the sense of community or the amazing work/life balance. Whatever the reason, hundreds of business owners have chosen to set up and operate their businesses in the Waimakariri District. Each month we sit down with a local business owner to find out Why Waimakariri?

Why Waimakariri: Country Villa Estate

A visit to Ohoka in the Waimakariri District was all it took for Laetitia and John de Vries to realise they had found the location of their dreams. The couple were so enamoured with the location that they wanted to share it with the world, so in March 2019 they opened Country Villa Estate - a boutique bed and breakfast.

Discover all the reasons they chose Waimakariri for their business journey in our Why Waimakariri profile >>
