Dear Guest

Some very welcome news was announced by the Government last week outlining a $40 million allocation to the Regional Business Partners Network. As Waimakariri, Hurunui and Kaikōura’s delivery agent for this programme, this announcement means ENC is able to provide further much-needed support and funding to our local enterprises. This comes not a moment too soon after our region, between central government, Council funding and professional services firms, has already provided over $207,000 of funding to more than 303 enterprises impacted by COVID-19 and a further $32,800 for 58 businesses to receive cashflow forecasting advice. This just-announced Covid-19 Advisory Funding will be available to continue to support enterprises that are viable but vulnerable. For eligibility and application information please visit our website.

Local businesses have welcomed MSD Rangiora Work Broker and now ENC Employment Specialist Michelle Becks with open arms. Michelle is playing a pivotal role in linking a talented pool of job seekers to those businesses currently hiring. We are also providing redundancy seminars to outline the types of work and training opportunities available through the many Government employment schemes. Our partnership with MSD in the past has proven very successful and this time will be no exception.

I encourage you to approach ENC for advisory funding and employment support. We have a talented team to work with you at this time.

Kind regards,

Heather Warwick, CEO
